Design with Passion.

First and foremost, I live and breathe design.

This is word for word what I was told earlier today in a meeting, "...You can't put feeling into your designs, you simply don't need it." I was told not to put feeling into my work; basically don't give a shit. That is probably the dumbest thing to ever say to a designer. Don't put feeling into it. " You will get too emotionally attached."
Am I crazy but doesn't great design come from feeling/passion? If you don't give a shit about what your making, then why be a designer? Why fucking do it?! What's the fucking point?! If you're not supposed to put feeling into your work then I guess all the great painters of our time, just well wasted their time. Hey, Morrison, Joplin, Hendrix, you don't need to put any feeling behind what you do. My favorite part of all this, is that quote came from the president of the company.

Who, What, Where and When

Well I guess it's time to jump back on the old dazed wagon. I have been asked a few questions over the past couple of months, so I figured it would be easier to start a blog.

Is A Daze Work done?

No.

Will A Daze Work be coming back soon?

Yes. I am working on three to four new cartoons that should hit newgrounds.com, and the website by June.

Why did it take so long?

Because, well I'm lazy, and my new job has had me over in Europe at least once a month for one to two weeks at a time. But never fear, I am working on the new cartoons as we speak AND planning on doing some other cool shit as well.

I'm not really what you would call, blogger savy, so bare with me while I get used to this. There is a lot of shit that I am going to be working on as the months roll by. I have a rough draft for the forth toon, which will be a short, as well as a wierd and hopefully good halloween episode. I know its months away, but it's never to early to start.
